Poor sleep quality affects work performance.  The effects of sleep loss on work performance are costing U.S. employers tens of billions of dollars a year in lost productivity.  It’s time to make sleep a priority!

Employees with untreated sleep apnea put themselves and your company at great risk!  A major detriment of untreated sleep apnea is excessive daytime sleepiness which is the feeling of being tired or of wanting to nap often throughout the day.

According to a recent National Sleep Foundation’s Sleep in America poll, with a targeted random sample of 1,000 Americans, in one month:

  • 29% polled fell asleep or became very sleepy at work;
  • 36% have nodded off or fallen asleep while driving; with 26% driving drowsy during the workday;
  • 12% were late to work because of sleepiness.

Sleepy workers are dangerous, less productive, and a major source of increased health-care costs and corporate liability. Studies show sleeplessness to be a factor in 90 percent of accidents resulting from human error.  The legal concerns and performance problems resulting from sleep apnea requires a proactive approach.

At Sleep Apnea Solutions, we know that good sleep means good business and with that, we proudly partner with our corporate customers to create a Sleep Apnea Healthy and Safety Program that best suits your needs.
