Why We Are Here
Because research conservatively estimates 85% of the 20 million Americans
expected to have Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) are yet to be diagnosed and
treated, and with the rise in aging adults and the increased likelihood of
obesity, this number is expected to increase all the more.1
Home testing is a necessary option to diagnose sleep apnea as the estimated
3,000+ sleep laboratories in the U.S. can only accommodate a fraction of the
patients that require diagnosis today. In addition, the standard method
for diagnosing OSA, placing the patient in a sleep laboratory overnight and
performing a Polysomnography (PSG), can be expensive, ranging anywhere from
$1,500 to $5,000 per night.
At Sleep Apnea Solutions, our patients remind us every day that home testing
is a viable option for today’s society, especially for consumers that:
- Cannot afford a PSG due to lack of health insurance, or high insurance
deductibles;
- Cannot wait to get into a sleep lab; or
- Do not sleep well outside
of their own bed.
In order to accommodate the needs of today's patients, other options must be
made available. The good news is that Sleep Apnea Solutions already does! We
offer a
simple, accurate and affordable means to test for sleep apnea
in the comfort and convenience of your own home!
Our skilled and passionate staff are dedicated to provide the means for
patients to have healthy, restorative sleep that in turn helps reduce the risks of developing
other serious health consequences such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke
and motor vehicle accidents. At Sleep Apnea Solutions, Inc., we are
a team of professionals using our gifts to best serve undiagnosed sleep apnea
patients. As professionals, we serve as members of the following
